Photo Booth Rental in The Woodlands, TX: Pricing, Branded Photos & Planning Tips

Planning a holiday party, wedding or milestone birthday in The Woodlands and wondering whether a photo booth is worth it? Short answer: if you want guests mingling, laughing and leaving with something to remember the night by, a booth is one of the easiest ways to get there.

We're OMG! Event Co., based just west of The Woodlands in Tomball. Here's a practical guide to renting a photo booth in The Woodlands: what it costs with us, how branded photos work, what to plan for at a hotel or resort venue, and the questions to ask before you book.

What a photo booth rental in The Woodlands costs

Let's start with the number everyone wants. At OMG!, Photo Booth Only is $600, and it covers 4 hours of booth time. Need the booth running longer? Additional hours are $150 each. Your written quote confirms the hours, setup details and total for your event, so there are no surprises later.

If you want music too, our DJ packages each include up to 4 hours with a dedicated professional DJ, our sound system (2 high-end speakers, 2 subwoofers and 2 wireless microphones) and a pre-event planning call:

| Package | Price | What you get | |---|---|---| | OMG! Basic | $800 | 4-hour DJ package | | OMG! Lit | $1,000 | DJ plus dance floor lights and fog | | OMG! Fire | $1,800 | DJ, lights and fog, plus the OMG! Photo Booth | | OMG! VIP Experience | $4,250 | Everything in Fire, plus a jumbotron video wall, red carpet and velvet ropes |

Why photo booths work so well at Woodlands events

The Woodlands hosts a little bit of everything: conferences and company parties around Town Center, resort weddings by the lake, and birthdays, graduations and neighborhood get-togethers in every village. A photo booth fits all of them for a few simple reasons.

  • It gets people talking. Coworkers from different departments, two sides of a wedding party, or neighbors who've only waved from the driveway end up crowded into the same photo.
  • It gives non-dancers something to do. Not everyone hits the dance floor. The booth is the spot everyone ends up at between dinner, toasts and the next song.
  • Guests leave with a memory. Instead of a party favor that gets left on the table, people go home with photos from the night.
  • It works in any room. A ballroom, an office lobby, a clubhouse or a backyard all work as long as there's space and power.

Branded photos: make every picture match your event

This is where a booth goes from fun to genuinely useful, especially for corporate events. Our booth puts a fully branded frame on every digital photo. That frame can carry your company logo, your event name, a couple's names and wedding date, or a birthday theme and colors.

Here's how it works with us:

  1. You send your assets. Logos, colors and the wording you want on the frame (for example, "Happy Holidays from the team" or "Taylor & Jordan, 6.12.27").
  2. We design the frame. Our team sets it up on the booth before your event.
  3. Every photo carries it. Each guest picture becomes a little keepsake of your event, and for a business, a branded photo that's easy to share.

Tip: send your logos and wording as early as you can. We can lock in your date and the event details first, then add the frame artwork when it's ready.

Planning your booth at a Woodlands hotel or resort

Some of the biggest event spaces north of Houston are right in The Woodlands, including The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, The Woodlands Resort on Lake Harrison and The Westin at The Woodlands. Large venues come with their own logistics, so here's what we sort out ahead of time:

  • Load-in and setup times. Big hotels often schedule vendor access tightly. Our booth takes about 30 minutes to set up, and we'll coordinate the time with the venue's event team.
  • Placement and power. The best spot is close enough to the action that people wander over, but not blocking a walkway or the bar line. We'll need a nearby outlet.
  • Backdrop. We typically don't bring a backdrop. Many venues and planners have one, and some hosts like using a nice wall, a holiday tree or a step-and-repeat banner. We'll ask what you have so we can plan the shot.
  • Timing with your schedule. If you have speeches or awards, we'll plan around them so the booth isn't pulling people away at the wrong moment.

Hosting at home, at a village clubhouse or at a smaller venue? Same process. Tell us about the space and we'll plan around it. You can also see what we do for events across the area on our The Woodlands DJ & photo booth page.

Holiday party season: book early

November and December are the busiest stretch of the year for party entertainment, and Friday and Saturday nights fill up first. If you're planning a company holiday party or a family celebration in The Woodlands, reach out as soon as you have a date and a venue. A quote request doesn't commit you to anything, and it's the fastest way to find out whether your date is open.

Planning the whole party? Our holiday party DJ and photo booth guide walks through a simple timeline, and our 9 questions to ask a corporate event DJ helps if you're booking for the office. You can also see more on our corporate event entertainment page.

Should you add a DJ, or just the booth?

It depends on the event:

  • Just the booth is a great fit when you already have music covered, like a venue playlist, a band, or a quieter networking event. Photo Booth Only at $600 for 4 hours keeps it simple.
  • DJ plus booth makes sense when you want one team running the music, the microphone and the photos on one timeline, with one point of contact. That's what the OMG! Fire package ($1,800) is built for: DJ, lights and fog, and the photo booth together.

Not sure which fits? Tell us about the event and we'll recommend the simplest option that covers what you need. Learn more about our photo booth experience, wedding entertainment or private party entertainment.

Questions to ask before you book a photo booth

Whoever you hire, get clear answers to these before you sign:

  1. How many hours are included, and what does extra time cost?
  2. Can the photos be branded with my logo, names or theme?
  3. How long is setup, and how much space and power do you need?
  4. Do you bring a backdrop, or should we plan one?
  5. Will someone be with the booth during the event?
  6. What does it take to reserve my date?
  7. Is everything, including hours and total, in a written agreement?
